Liberal Democrat Dunfermline West MSP Jim Tolson has called on travel companies to ensure that accurate travel information is displayed in train stations as disruption caused by the bad weather continues across Scotland.
Commenting Jim Tolson MSP said:
"Hundreds of rail commuters across Scotland including myself understand that rail services will be disrupted due to the snow and ice at the moment.
"But this no excuse for lack of accurate and reliable travel information.
"Train companies like First Scot Rail must ensure their travel web sites and station display screens give accurate and up to date information.
"Whilst train commuters know rail companies are working very hard to keep everything moving in incredibly hard circumstances, train companies need to ensure up-to-date information is provided even in adverse weather conditions."
